Last night, our Doing Good committee, led by Del S., took part in a quiz night in support of Suffolk Community Foundation’s Suffolk Futures Fund, set up in celebration of their 20th anniversary. The Fund will back organisations dedicated to helping young people aged 16-25 with vital issues like mental health, education, housing and employment. While we didn’t win, we were thrilled to be supporting an initiative that will make a real difference for youth in our community. Our Doing Good Team Doing Good! #DoingGood

Another win for our incredible Claims team! We are thrilled to announce that we took home Claims Team of the Year at last night’s UK Broker Awards! This recognition comes hot on the heels of winning Claims Innovation of the Year at the Claims & Fraud Awards just last week. To be recognised twice in such a short space of time is a true testament to the passion, expertise and dedication of our team. We were also proud to be named Finalist in the Schemes Broker of the Year category. Special thanks to Del S. for accepting the award on behalf of the team. It was another great Ipswich Sporting Lunch Club on Friday with over 160 business leaders in attendance. England Rugby legend Kyran Bracken MBE was the guest of honour, sharing his experiences from the 2003 World Cup and beyond. Kyran presented SportsAid grants to two young Suffolk athletes - bowler Charlie Beeton and sailor Hamish Collingridge - helping them on their journey to compete at the highest level. It’s inspiring to see how the collective efforts of Suffolk’s business community are enabling local sports talent to achieve their dreams. It’s a privilege to be a part of that support through our co-sponsorship of the event. If you’re interested in attending future lunch clubs visit www.sportsaideastern.co.uk for more information. #IpswichSportingLunchClub #SportsAid #SupportLocal #DoingGood Photo featuring Charlie Beeton, Kyran Bracken MBE and Hamish Collingridge centre, with the event sponsors, including: StrategiQ Marketing, Beckett Investment Management Group, Handelsbanken, Fenn Wright Surveyors and Agents, Waller Transport Services, Ensors Chartered Accountants, Ellisons Solicitors and Pound Gates.

We had a lot of fun participating in yesterday's Kesgrave Kruisers 10K in memory of Alan Brown. Our team, including staff members Josh Yasar, Del S., Matt Holmes and Lynsey Delacamp with a few friends and family, was thrilled to join in the event and sponsor the tee shirts given out to the 500 participants. A huge well done to Kevin Ward and all the organisers for putting together such a superbly organised race and raising funds for various charities. We've raised over £500 for the Acorn Fund through our partnership with Suffolk Community Foundation, supporting Suffolk-based local charities and causes. If you’d like to make a donation and support local causes, you can donate here: https://lnkd.in/eyFKpCKS A big thank you to Roger Leboff for his fun cartoon design on the shirts. #DoingGood #10K

It was a pleasure to visit the Pound Gates office recently to see Josh Yasar and the team and to celebrate their support of Ormiston Families with a £2,000 donation raised at their Risky Business Breakfast event. This generous contribution could fund our Breaking Barriers service for one day, providing vital support to children and young people across the East of England who have a parent in prison. This partnership exemplifies how collaboration can make a significant difference. By working together, Ormiston Families is helping Poundgates achieve their goal of ‘Doing Good’ by balancing the pursuit of business success with addressing the needs of the wider communities in which they operate and have an impact. Thank you, Poundgates, for your commitment and support! #Socialimpact #CommunitySupport #BreakingBarriers #OrmistonFamilies #Poundgates #DoingGood #ESG #Suffolk #Corporatepartnership #Partnershipswithpurpose

We were thrilled to co-sponsor the Ellisons Solicitors Painting for Change Exhibition Gala! Partnering with Suffolk One Sixth Form College, this event supports young artists while raising funds for our community. The funds raised will help build an accessible outdoor classroom at Suffolk One, providing a valuable resource for education. Each young artist created a unique piece for one of the sponsors, and we're excited to showcase Seval Bugby’s artwork in our Ipswich office. It took Seval three months to complete this stunning piece, which is focused on climate change. Congratulations to everyone involved for making this project a success and an inspiration.
