Yesterday, Pearson Engineering attended a careers event at Thornhill Academy in Sunderland to engage with students and discuss the exciting opportunities available within engineering. The event provided a platform to highlight the importance of science, technology, engineering, art and maths (STEAM) and the critical role these skills play in driving innovation and growth across various industries. Throughout the day, approximately 600 students attended the event eager to learn more about potential career paths in engineering. Boxer has successfully completed its sea water fording trial at Instow beach in North Devon! The 38.5-tonne vehicle performed excellently showing stability and control moving in the water, proving that Boxer can ford unprepared. This trial has further demonstrated Boxer’s impressive tactical mobility, making it a vital asset for our armed forces in any scenario that requires rapidly deployable infantry mass.
