The indices, available for various tenors, track the performance of a monthly rolling strategy investing in zero-coupon inflation swaps linked to the UK RPI inflation index. The chart here shows how the indices have captured the evolving view of UK RPI since mid-September (reflected in the returns performance of the respective tenor), as noted in the BoE’s monetary policy report, published earlier today.
