3 extra valuable lessons learnt from this story: 💕 Resilience and Faith: The man had faith in Allah and in the guidance of the Prophet ﷺ. Despite being in a difficult situation, he worked hard, put his trust in Allah, and went for it. The outcome is in Allah's hands, but he took action and put in the work. 🛣 Guidance and Support: Having a mentor or coach can make all the difference in moving your business forward. 💵 Dignity in Earning: Taking consistent action to make your own living is more fulfilling and respectful than constantly relying on others for help. #FaithAndBusiness #IslamicMindset #PurposeDrivenBusiness #muslimsinbusiness #muslimentrepreneurs #businessmentorship

📖 "A man from the Ansaar came to the Prophet ﷺand begged from him. The Prophet ﷺ asked him if he owned anything, and the man replied that he had only a piece of cloth and a wooden bowl. The Prophet ﷺ asked him to bring these items and then auctioned them for two dirhams. 💰 He advised the man to buy food for his family with one dirham and an axe with the other. The man bought the axe, and the Prophet ﷺ fixed the handle himself. He then told the man to collect firewood and sell it, instructing him not to return for two weeks. 🤑 After working hard, the man earned ten dirhams, bought food and clothing, and returned. The Prophet ﷺ said, “This is better for you than begging, which will be a mark of shame on the Day of Judgment. Begging is only for those in severe poverty, debt, or paying blood money.” 👀 Here are 3 valuable lessons learnt from this story! 💪🏽 Empowerment Over Handouts: The Prophet ﷺ empowered the man to earn for himself rather than just giving charity. It's better to be self-reliant than dependent on others. 🎯 Maximize What You Have: Even small things can become valuable assets. Use what you have instead of focusing on what you lack—i.e skills, experience, network...etc and how you can use these to your benefit. 📆 Hard Work and Persistence: The Prophet ﷺ taught the man to work hard and stay focused, showing the value of determination in reaching your goals. #FaithAndBusiness #IslamicMindset #PurposeDrivenBusiness #muslimsinbusiness #muslimentrepreneurs #businessmentorship

We will unpack the topic of Islamophobia for Wellness Week: 🧠 Islamophobia refers to the irrational fear, hatred, or prejudice against Islam and Muslims. Unfortunately, it can manifest in various forms, including discrimination and bias in the workplace. Islamophobia in the workplace can have serious consequences for Muslim employees, affecting their job satisfaction, performance, and overall well-being. Here are some aspects to consider: 💥 Discrimination and Stereotyping: Muslim employees may face discrimination based on their religious beliefs, including biased hiring practices, unequal treatment, or exclusion from certain opportunities. Stereotypes and misconceptions about Islam may lead to unfair assumptions about the capabilities, loyalty, or intentions of Muslim workers. 💥 Microaggressions: Microaggressions are subtle, often unintentional, discriminatory comments or behaviors that can create a hostile work environment. Muslim employees may experience microaggressions related to their faith, such as insensitive remarks about their clothing, dietary choices, lifestyle or religious practices. More on this tomorrow... #wellnessweek #muslim
