Special charity coffee morning events were held in Northern Marine Group UK offices on Friday 27th September with £693 raised for Macmillan Cancer Support.   An array of delicious baked treats including cakes, muffins, tarts and savoury dishes were enjoyed as employees took part in a fun home baking competition.   A very big thank you to everyone who supported the event and donated to Macmillan Cancer Support. Last week, we shared Anthony Neeranjan’s story as he set off on the Stena Pro Patria, as part of the Proman and UTT Cadetship Programme. Today, we are delighted to introduce Jared Odain-Samaroo, SIMarEST, a former cadet, who is now a Junior Officer with the Northern Marine crew, sailing on our cutting-edge 49,900 DWT IMOIIMeMAX fleet. Jared’s journey from cadet to Junior Officer exemplifies the power of the Cadetship Programme, which is providing opportunities to young Trinidad and Tobago nationals thanks to the collaboration between Proman, UTT, and Northern Marine Group. The inaugural UK Chamber of Shipping conference take place on Tuesday 8th October with Northern Marine Group as Bronze Sponsors. Northern Marine Group’s office infrastructure has expanded with the opening of a renovated facility next door to Group head offices in Clydebank, Glasgow. The newly named “Enterprise House” is now accommodating UK-based employees Clyde Travel Management (a Northern Marine Group company) and the Group’s Corporate Services division.
