The NewPower team were delighted to host a fantastic day with senior team members from Wrightbus, First Bus, NewPower UK and AllServiceOne. The group met in our Bicester factory for a day of inspiring and challenging idea sharing and thought provoking industry insights.   Wrightbus CEO Jean-Marc Gales hosted the event and welcomed senior team members from each company for briefings and breakout sessions around our shared vision for a greener future supporting UK manufacturing and green jobs.   Our factory provided the perfect backdrop for discussions around the decarbonisation of public transport, and allowed the First Bus team to take a first hand look at the progress of their recent order. Their initial order of 32 buses being repowered by NewPower are currently working their way through our production bays, having their diesel engines replaced with new zero-emission electric powertrains by our expert team.
