Since we signed up for the Disability Confident Employer Scheme, we've worked hard to progress through the three levels. Some of the steps we've taken are below. Hear from our Nest Invest CEO, Mark Fawcett, OBE on our recent news about us joining forces with Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) and PGGM Investments to collectively invest up to £1 billion in building high-quality rental homes across the UK. This initiative, with an initial £350 million commitment, is a great investment opportunity for our members that will also help to address the critical shortage of rental housing. By leveraging the expertise of L&G and the financial power of PGGM, we’re confident in delivering high-quality, rental properties that meet the growing demand of UK renters.  Build-to-rent (BtR) properties are new or existing developments converted from other uses and re-developed to a high-standard. The residential units are specifically designed for rent, as opposed to for sale. BtR is estimated to be worth about £30 billion.
