Daniel Jenkins' post highlights a critical point, communication between lawyers and clients has evolved rapidly, but the administrative processes that go hand in hand with it haven’t kept up. Lawyers are expected to reply to emails in minutes, yet it can still take hours (if not days) to complete client onboarding, compliance checks, and document management. At Emmi, we’re on a mission to close that gap. By automating those time consuming tasks, we make sure legal professionals aren’t left racing to catch up. The result? Less pressure, more time for client work, and greater efficiency across the board. Let’s match the speed of communication with the speed of admin, because both are crucial to delivering excellent legal services. #LegalTech #Automation #AI #Efficiency #EmmiAI #LegalInnovation
The pace of legal communication vs the pace of legal tech 🏃♂️📧 Over the years, technology has transformed the way lawyers communicate with clients. From the days of sending letters through the post to firing off instant emails, the speed at which we communicate has drastically increased. What once took days now takes seconds. But here's the thing: while communication technology has skyrocketed, the tools we rely on to handle the administrative side of things haven't kept pace as fast. Yes, we can send documents in the blink of an eye, but the processes required to onboard clients, generate compliance documentation, or even track engagement still often involve significant manual intervention. I often found myself working on my commute in or out of the office, or at ungodly hours to try and keep my work up to regulatory standard. This disconnect creates pressure. Lawyers are expected to respond faster, take on more clients, and manage more tasks. Yet the tools to automate and simplify those non billable, time consuming processes are often missing or too difficult to adopt. That's why I wanted to build a tool like Emmi, one that I would actually use in my day to day practice that could start taking on the tasks I don’t like doing but that were essential. As many will tell you, AI isn’t good enough (yet) to do things fully autonomously, but there is a half-way house where it can still significantly cut down the time I need to spend whilst also asking for my authorisation. What do you think? Is the pressure to communicate quickly causing more strain on your work due to slow admin processes? How have you seen technology impacting the legal profession? Let’s discuss 👇 #LegalTech #AI #Efficiency #LegalProfession #Automation #Productivity #EmmiAI #ClientService

📈 How Important is Easy Tech Adoption for the Legal Industry? As we see more innovation in legal tech, one factor stands out: ease of adoption. Law firms today face enough challenges without adding complex software systems to the mix. The key to success isn’t just about having the best tools but ensuring they’re easy to use, integrate, and adopt. In a busy legal practice, no one has time for weeks of training or hours of onboarding. What firms need are solutions that work intuitively from day one. We believe the best technology is seamless, it should blend into existing workflows, require minimal learning, and solve problems instantly. At Emmi, we focus on making legal AI more than just powerful. We make it accessible and easy to adopt. Our goal is simple: lawyers should spend time focusing on their clients, not figuring out how to use a new system. 🌟 Ease of use = higher productivity. Let’s put the focus on legal professionals where it matters: on strategic thinking and client service. Tech that works for you, not against you. How do you feel about tech adoption in your firm? Do the solutions you use make life easier, or are they more complex than they need to be? Let us know your thoughts in the comments. 👇 #LegalTech #TechAdoption #AI #EaseOfUse #InnovationInLaw #Productivity #EmmiAI #Automation

Specialised AI for specialised needs: The Future of Legal Tech The recent acquisition of Safe Sign by Thomson Reuters highlights a crucial shift in the legal tech landscape. As Thomson Reuters CTO Joel Hron pointed out, the move towards legal-specific Large Language Models (L-LLMs) underscores a growing understanding that specialised tools often outperform their generalist counterparts, especially in complex fields like law. 🔍 Why specialisation matters in AI: Tailored efficiency: L-LLMs, like those developed by Safe Sign, are fine-tuned with targeted data that makes them more effective at understanding and processing legal language and concepts. Enhanced Accuracy: With the right training data, these models can provide more accurate and relevant outputs, crucial for legal applications where precision is key. At Emmi, we believe in the power of specialisation. Our founders not only have lived the pain points, but also work with law firms to better understand how our solution can best help. 🌐 The Bigger Picture: Integration vs. Innovation: As the industry wrestles with integrating diverse tech solutions, specialized models offer a smoother, more coherent way forward. Community and Collaboration: The idea of forming consortiums for developing lawtech products could accelerate the adoption and effectiveness of these technologies. The legal sector is on the cusp of a new era, driven by domain-specific advancements. At Emmi, we’re excited to be part of this journey, developing AI that understands and anticipates the needs of legal professionals. 🤝 Are you ready to explore the potential of specialized legal AI? Let’s discuss how targeted technology can revolutionize your practice. #LegalTech #AI #Innovation #SpecializedAI #LawTech #FutureOfLaw #DigitalTransformation

At Emmi, we believe that technology should be a bridge, not a barrier. That's why reading the latest Legal Futures article by Rachel Roche LL.M. TEP 🌎 really struck a chord with us (link in comments). Access to our own data should be a base minimum, not only from an ethical standpoint, but also from a technical one. Streamlining workflows between fragmented systems is so frustrating, so anything that can help with that is gold dust. Here's our ethos with Emmi, built from these frustrations: Easy Integration: Emmi plays nice with other systems. We're all about connecting dots. Automate the Mundane: We don't want something to just look nice, we actually want the software to do things for us with minimal human interaction - "please just do it!" Grow with You: Humans are far too precious to be doing mundane tasks when they could be focusing on their clients. This applies to all ends of the market. We're passionate about making legal tech more accessible and less intimidating. If you're curious about how open API architecture could help your firm or just want to chat about tech, drop us a line. #LegalTech #TechIntegration #OpenAPI #LawFirmLife #SRAInnovate

What a wonderful way to announce ourselves with the wonderful Lucie Cruz. 🚀 Are you a forward thinking law firm that wants to find out more? Reach out to the team at [email protected]
Thrilled for Emmi to be mentioned in Lucie Cruz's latest article for The Lawyer - "Firms need to spot a legal tech winner" (link in the comments). As a lawyer, I’ve grappled with the limitations of existing technologies firsthand, whether it was onboarding clients or simply managing my emails. The recurring need to master new software is not only exhausting and frustrating but also comes at a significant time cost. Driven by this frustration, I sought to create a solution that would work intuitively, without the steep learning curve, and seamlessly integrate with the tech I already used. Enter the power of Large Language Models and their remarkable ability to understand human intent, acting as a translator between natural language and the digital world. The reliable and versatile outputs of Generative AI showed me the immense potential of using AI correctly, transforming it from a tool to an assistant. Fast forward to today, I’ve co-founded Emmi with four incredible individuals. Our goal? To develop an AI assistant that doesn’t just automate tasks but truly carries them out for you. We are excited to introduce the first iteration of Emmi, specifically designed for forward-thinking law firms. We're now looking for forward thinking Law Firms who would like to see what Emmi can do for them. If you are interested, please reach out at [email protected] for a chat!
