Momentum Global Investment Management was established in the UK in 1998 as an investment business focused on designing, building and managing innovative investment solutions. The firm is a wholly owned subsidiary of Momentum Metropolitan Holdings Limited, a large South African insurance and investment business, listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. Momentum Global Investment Management manages a wide range of investment solutions. We manage multi-asset funds and model portfolios for our clients, and we have a senior investment team that has been together for the majority of our firm’s history. The team has been recently bolstered following the high-profile acquisition of Seneca Investment Managers Ltd (SIML), a team with similar values and heritage. Over the past decade we have expanded our range of solutions across a number of geographic markets, giving clients large and small the benefit of our outcome-based investment approach. We have had significant success in growing our client base by working in close partnership with financial advisers and wealth managers and we now have relationships in six of the world’s seven continents. Our acquisition of SIML has created a springboard for growth for the combined business, with the additional benefits of a stronger offering and broader capability to deliver to clients. We believe that we are well positioned to be the “first port of call” for advisers when it comes to multi-asset solutions.
