Tonight, BBC Northern Ireland will air Spotlight: My son in a Warzone - a programme that tells the story of our client, Catherine Flanagan, and her tireless efforts to bring her son, David, home from Lebanon, where he has been held since 2022 by his father, without Catherine's consent. Our head of Matrimonial & Family law Clare Lenaghan has worked closely with Catherine on this sensitive and upsetting case and we continue to support her in every way possible to bring David home and into the rightful care of his mother. The Spotlight episode is available via BBC iPlayer now and also airs tonight at 1040pm. We are encouraged to see local media shining a light on cases of this nature.
