We started setting up our damp, condensation and ventilation business Dryforce Ltd as a bolt on to our main offer of property renovations in January this year. Without a website, a single piece of marketing material or even shouting about it in any big way we have been non-stop! That's the value of word of mouth recommendations, exceeding expectations and most importantly knowing your stuff 😉 And being able to offer a 10 year industry approved guarantee when the work is done 📝 Adding this expertise to our offer has exceeded my expectations and, most happily, benefited our clients new and old as well. I left tonight's event buzzing! Brilliant to hear the leaders of the Northern Powerhouse sharing their commitment to the Eco-economy, future development and transport plans. Great to catch up with Andy Burnham on the important role retrofitting can play in supporting this agenda 💚

⚠️⚠️⚠️ Alert!!! This landlord was about to face a £30,000 fine from the council for not dealing with damp and condesations issues 😨 We met up with the council reps and agent within a few days to assess the property and advised on what work needed to be done, internally and externally and sorted it within a week. We saved the landlord £23,000 and they now have a dry and well ventilated home for their tenants 🏡 The moral of the story for Landlords and Investors is: ➡️ Deal with damp issues at the earliest opportunity. This prevents damage to your property and maintains your responsibilities as a landlord. Sometimes I think we should wear our pants on the outside! 🦸♀️

I love taking time out with our clients and connecting with them on a personal level. Finding out where they are at, what they are struggling with and how we can work together to support their goals and aspirations has stood us in good sted. We have refurbed over 200 properties for this client alone and love the fact that our values of providing investors with a first class service are aligned. Damp issues left these basement rooms uninhabitable. We sorted it, along with a refurb on the rest of the property and now the owner is enjoying a £2k monthly income on this one :)
