If heights make you feel a little funny... look away now! On the 26th and 27th of June, a team of 46 Marsh McLennan colleagues fearlessly took on Lloyds Charity Abseil challenge, setting a new event record by raising an unbelievable £50,000 for our UK charity partner, Ambitious about Autism! Our brilliant team pushed themselves out of their comfort zones to abseil a whopping 289ft down the iconic Lloyds building – one of the most recognisable landmarks in the City of London. A huge congratulations to our team and thank you to all of those who generously supported them.

Fantastic work from our Worcester team, raising £3,918 for St Richard's Hospice!
Marsh Commercial/Marsh Worcester region held our latest Quiz night last Friday at Worcestershire County Cricket Club | Visit Worcestershire New Road, Worcester. I was pleased to co-host the event alongside our Quizmaster, Rob Horlock, who did an amazing job! The event was well attended, with nearly 100 attendees present. It was another fun and entertaining night that brought staff together from different teams. I'm pleased to say that we raised £4120, which will go to St Richard's Hospice in Worcester. I would like to extend my gratitude to Ria Simons from St Richards for attending again and speaking about the hospice and how the fundraising will benefit them. Congratulations to Trevor Allsop, Lee Hatchett, Joe McGorman, Katherine Raffaelli, and Chris Bishop for winning the quiz this year, after coming in 2nd place on a tie breaker last year! I would also like to express my thanks to all the insurers, contacts, and local businesses who kindly donated raffle prizes. Additionally, I want to acknowledge my fellow colleagues Roxanne Haines, Sam Bazley-John, Danielle Fain, Matt Hateley, Harry Lannie, Ben Dale Cert CII, Sarah Moore, Lisa Hooper-Platt Dip CII, and Katherine McGorman, Cert CII for their help with the organization.
