    If you visit my profile and look hard enough, you'll see me describe myself as a 'business matchmaker and connector of people'. When I was 25, I just wrote that because it sounded interesting. But in some sort of weird self-fulfilling prophecy, fast forward some years and that is actually who I am and what I believe in. Connections (meaningful ones, at least) are like currency. Making introductions is more like an investment; it pays for itself ten-fold in the long run. So be generous with your black book. Share your contacts.     As an early stage startup, do you sacrifice the Strategic thinking, or the Execution? Let me elaborate... In early stage businesses, I see Founders make one of two mistakes. Either; 1. A Founder invests heavily in a Senior Marketer. A real strategic thinker with a 5-year vision for the marketplace and your business. But they either can't and/or won't get their hands dirty, or there's simply no budget left to execute. You have an executional gap 🛠️⛔ 2. Being budget-conscious, a Founder invests in a Junior Marketer. You know the type... they're bright, hard-working, ambitious. But lacking a strategic narrative they simply spin their wheels. You have a strategic gap 🧠⛔ Enter Fractional Leadership. The above scenarios are the reasons Makk® exisits. We offer effective strategic guidance, whilst ensuring there's room in the budget for cost-effective execution. Makk helps Founders to build a marketing infrastructure from the ground up.     We're thrilled to announce that Krepling has secured $3.3m in funding 🎉 We’re on a mission to build the backbone for modern e-commerce and to continue to usher in a new paradigm for how merchants embrace the larger commerce tech stack. In less than 12 months, Krepling has more than quadrupled its revenue, with our growth primarily being product and sales led; we didn't spend a dollar on external acquisition. With the new capital, Krepling will more than triple the size of its team with numerous hires across engineering, sales, marketing, and more.
