London Youth
Non-profit Organizations
A charity on a mission to improve the lives of young people in London, challenging them to become the best they can.
About us
We are London Youth: a charity on a mission to champion and strengthen London’s youth organisations so young people have the opportunities and skills they need to succeed. We do this with and through our members – a network of 600 youth organisations – and at our two outdoor residential centres, Hindleap Warren and Woodrow High House. Throughout our 135-year history, community youth organisations have provided a constant lifeline and a vital safe space outside the family and formal education, where young people can develop confidence, resilience and skills. Young people need opportunities outside school to have fun with their friends, to make a positive change in their communities and to shape the city they live in.

It's been a summer of insights for the young people participating in our Digital Talent 2.0 programme. 💻💼 Framestore, NatWest and Overbury welcomed cohorts from our member youth organisations Peoples Place Community Partnerships, Highbury Vale Blackstock Trust (Elizabeth House Community Centre), Beyond the Bias , CAIUS HOUSE, COVENT GARDEN DRAGON HALL TRUST and the Albany, for days of inspiration, direction and fun. They introduced young people to the areas of visual effects and animation, digital banking and crowdfunding, and digital and tech in the construction sector. Each day within the company featured engaging and interactive business-specific group tasks, the opportunity for young people to ask questions and spend time networking with various colleagues in different digital, data and tech roles and at different levels. These enriching experiences are invaluable and support young people to be better informed about their career choices. A huge thank you to our inspirational speakers, Amy Smith, Ellis Rudder and Chelsie Ratcliffe- Cull! #digitaltalent #insightdays #employerpartnerships #careers
