I love the images of these spaces and how Dukes Education is at the forefront of education and learning spaces. The use of biomimicry and sustainable materials is noteworthy (ask me if you need me to explain what biomimicry is). LPS Principal Suzie Longstaff OLY (nee Suzie Ellis), coxed the British Women's Eight at the Atlanta games, so knows firsthand what it's like to feel the giddy mix of anticipation, nerves and excitement as the world's finest athletes come together. Despite Suzie's modest assertion that 'there's an a Olympic sport for everyone - mine was just sitting on my bottom and shouting at people', we all know the effort it takes to make it to the Olympics and how much an Olympian will have sacrificed, and salute their resilience, determination, and tenacity. Come and join us for this fabulous evening! The Citizens of the World Choir will perform at Eaton Square Senior School on Thursday 20 June from 6pm. This important event marks World Refugee Day and we are honoured to be hosting it. The Citizens of the World Choir family has 50 members from over 30 different countries. It is a professional musical organisation that advocates for understanding, dignity and kindness through the transformative impact of music and song. The choir has performed at Glastonbury, nearby Buckingham Palace, for the Great British Bake Off and now comes to 106 Piccadilly!
