Is food marketing set to change? For years it’s focused on less. It’s 30% less fat. It’s sugar-free. It’s reduced salt. I get why this became the norm. Why wouldn’t we want less bad stuff? But this is a message of loss and avoidance. Not something to get terribly excited about. Which makes Danone’s GetPRO range all the more interesting. Sure, they’re hitting the protein trend, but they’re doing it in a bold, additive way. Dedicating this much pack space to macro counts is a bold move. One that signals a clear shift from loss to gain.
