This year we introduced Lind & Lime Gin kegs for our On-Trade partners (exclusively available through Royal Mile Whiskies). More than just a new way to store and pour, it’s a step toward reducing waste while keeping quality at the forefront. By opting for kegs, we’ve already made some small but significant changes this year: We’ve saved 680kg of glass - hundreds of bottles no longer needed. Gone too are 2,600g of cork, paper and wood. Simple things, perhaps, but we hope the small things keep adding up to a more thoughtful way of doing business.
About us
We set out to create the very definition of what a London Dry Gin should be; to do something very simple, but do it to perfection. With juniper at its core, we use fresh lime peel and a hint of pink peppercorns to create a classic benchmark expression that is balanced, dry and intensely refreshing. Lind & Lime Gin is forged from the talent, heritage and industry of Edinburgh and its historic distilling district of Leith. In everything that we produce, our watchword is ‘balance’.

Today we launch a new addition to the Lind & Lime portfolio! Though new to us, Furoshiki is a cloth wrapping tradition that has been part of Japanese culture for over a millennium. And while the world has changed, its functional charm endures as a symbol of purposeful, sustainable giving. We’ve started the collection with two beautiful designs made from 100% organic cotton. Our cloth wraps are available individually, or, you can buy a pre-wrapped bottle of our organic gin, which makes for a unique, responsible and beautiful gift. The UK uses 227,000 miles of wrapping paper - the equivalent of nine journeys around the world - every single year, most of which ends up in landfill. Our Furoshiki wraps are an alternative option, designed to wrap, carry, and be passed along, again and again. You can read more here - https://lnkd.in/eC9MPxhQ And if you'd like to chat with our sales team about Furoshiki, please don't hesitate to reach out to [email protected].

It is our pleasure to publish our inaugural carbon report, a pivotal step in our sustainability journey. Alongside our Sustainability Report published in April, this document underscores our dedication to transparency as we work to minimise our environmental footprint. Our 2023 report follows the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, a global standard for carbon reporting and reduction, and aligns with the efforts set out by the Scottish Whisky Association and Scottish Government guidelines. A big thank you to our team for their dedication to this important work. With a clearer picture of our 2023 emissions, we’ve already identified opportunities for improvement and are actively exploring new ways to reduce our impact.
