Last week, team Leonid headed away for another epic summer party - this time, in sunny Valencia. We enjoyed the beach (even taking a dip in the remarkably warm sea), the historic old town, lots of tasty tapas and sangria and most of all, each other's company. For Jessica, John and Ben, it was their first Leonid offsite - as they only joined the business a couple of weeks ago! These gatherings are such an important part of Leonid's culture; enabling us to create special memories and bond in person. Although we are dispersed across the UK, Spain and France, we very much feel like 'one team' and these opportunities to meet up regularly in person are one of the main reasons why. Huge thanks to James and Jamie for their generosity in putting on these amazing trips!

It’s been a busy and buzzing week at Leonid HQ, as we’ve welcomed three new joiners onboard! Jessica Kraintz, Ben Worsley and John Muir have all joined our innovation incentives team as we look to bolster our global presence and further establish our reputation as the leading recruiter in this niche. Jessica joins Leonid with more than 20 years’ experience in executive search and business development. Originally from the US, Jessica historically spent the majority of her career working in London. Bi-lingual in English and French, Jessica is now based in France but her work at Leonid will span all the key markets across continental Europe. Jessica says: “I'm really looking forward to diving into the fascinating world of R&D Incentives and building out the European side of the business.” Ben is no stranger to the world of innovation incentives, as he joins us from Brook Street, where he worked for several years and latterly as Principal Consultant in this niche. Having recently got married, it’s an exciting time of change for Ben, who looks forward to further extending Leonid’s presence in both the UK and the growing US market. He will be based in the UK. Ben says: “I’m very excited to have joined the market leading recruitment firm in the innovation incentives space – the Leonid model is truly exceptional and I look forward to using this and giving both our candidates and clients a high quality and efficient service.” John also joins us from Brook Street, and takes up the role of Delivery Consultant, supporting Ben in growing our Innovation Incentives division and providing a smooth, efficient and professional service for our candidates. John says: “I’m excited by this next chapter and to be working for a firm with such a great reputation.” Our three newest recruits have had a pretty full onboarding schedule this week, but now they have our quarterly offsite trip to Valencia next week to look forward to – so it’s been a perfect time for them to join the team!
