We're delighted to share this opportunity with our network. Any opportunity to work in the firm led by Craig Emden and advised by Lydia Redpath-Rochelle alongside Jack Y. is bound to be a good one.
An exciting opportunity for a BD professional. The role will work directly with me, please feel free to message me if you want to chat about it informally. #jobvacancy #career #BD

Sharing for reach! Do contact Matt Baldwin for more details on PM Forum's next issue.
A couple of editorial spots have opened up in the November/December issue of the PM Forum's PM magazine and looking for awesome contributors - particularly from in-house marketing and BD teams. Some thoughts on potential themes: - Building engagement online - the role AI can and shouldn't play - It's directory season (it alway is somewhere) - a reminder on what works and what does - and what's new - with the legal directories. - How to write a good award submission - Campaign case studies - thought leadership, client listening, PR And I'm open to other suggestions... ... so do get in touch.

Pleased to share this post from Silvia Van den Bruel for the CMO Series featuring herself, Lucie Allen on normalising #MenopauseMatters
Marketing & BD Director at Hausfeld | Believes small things can make a big impact | Wants to make a difference one step at a time | An #equity and #inclusion fan(atic) | Everyone should make time to mentor
Looking back on my LinkedIn posts of the last few weeks, I seem to have become menopause obsessed - possessed some may say - but the only way to normalise the conversation around #menopause is to talk about it. Lucie Allen and I were so chuffed that Yasmin Zand and Charlotte Knight were keen to help us and invited us to speak on their #CMO Represent podcast series to help lift the taboo. Thank you Passle for being such generous hosts. https://lnkd.in/dvkW4t3b

Some further #MondayMusings on LinkedIn and #PersonalBranding from Amanda Lee FCIArb
International Arbitrator | Diversity and Wellbeing Advocate | Founder of Careers in Arbitration & ARBalance
When it comes to #PersonalBranding, consistency is important. So, today, let's talk about what consistency looks like on LinkedIn. Today's tip is short, but important: ✅ Post regularly Now, that sounds good in principle, but what does it really mean? How regularly does a regular poster post if a regular poster posts regularly ? Hourly? Daily? Weekly? Monthly? How do you strike a balance between: 👋 Reminding your network that you exist and are ready for action; and 😩 Giving the impression that you have nothing better to do than share your idle thoughts on LinkedIn? As lawyers are so fond of saying: it depends. To build consistency, embrace the power of planning. ❓ Set yourself a posting goal. Sharing one post a week is usually a good place to start. ❓Make it achievable. For you personally, not everyone else out there - if once a week is too much, start with once a month. ❓Be deliberate. Set half an hour aside each week to draft your post, whatever you choose to write about - diarise it so you do not forget. ❓Stick to it. Good intentions are great, good execution is better. ❓Build consistency. Over time, people will become accustomed to seeing your content - they will remember your name, for better or for worse. For example, take my #WiADay series. Once a week, every week - one post. Same time, same place - one post. Come rain, come shine - one post. That is consistency. And, thanks to LinkedIn's scheduling tool, almost anyone can share something at least once a week. Remember: you don't have to post what you draft immediately. When I have hearing prep, or filings, or I know I'm sitting on Friday, I plan ahead. WiADay posts are drafted several days, sometimes weeks, in advance. You can build your personal brand around your day job. As we start a new month, who's ready to give it a try? ✅ One post a week ✅ Same day ✅ Same time But what should you talk about? For junior folks and those who are nervous about posting, try one of the following: 📖 Share key takeaways from a recent article or blog post 📖 Share key takeaways from a recent event you attended, with a smiley photo 📖 Share key takeaways from a recent arbitration podcast or series For more senior folks, pick something to talk about that interests you. 🏗 Practical tips to share about construction arbitrations? Bring them on. 💻 A pro at getting arbitration internships? Share your experiences. 📊 Keen to help parties work more effectively with experts? Tell us how. Basically, talk about what you know. Do it well. And people will read it. Frankly, anything can be content. I've joked that I can create #arbitration-related content from any pop culture prompt. Star Trek, Indiana Jones, comic books. I've done them all. Don't believe me? Suggest some pop culture-related prompts below. I will turn them into arbitration-themed content. As for the photograph, a smiley one from the first ARBalance hike today - nothing fancy! #ArBranding

More #MondayMusings - this time on the need to speak truth unto power, something highly pertinent to those working for #lawfirms
Senior level PR Consultant and fractional PR executive Short-term, one-off, or long-term PR/comms help Ongoing, or on-call PR/marketing comms counsel 1.35 million monthly content views
It's never mentioned in the job description, but to be effective in any corporate comms or PR role, you need to be able to speak truth to power. That can be hard and uncomfortable. Especially because most leaders are used to getting their way. But to do the job well, we can't just be another "yes" person in their orbit. We have to be able to tell executives when: - They need more media training - Their preferred message points are not going to go over well with media/customers (ie they sound insensitive or out of touch with the audience) - They should say yes to an interview opportunity that they want to decline, or vice versa Find a compelling, persuasive, and diplomatic way to make your case. Say the things that need to be said. You won't win every battle. Sometimes you have to capitulate. But you need to develop the comfort level to speak up and make the case.

Superb insights from Limeslade here...
One of my favourite #ConstructionCast sessions so far! Just before the summer holidays I caught up with some friends for a chat about 'authentic marketing' - we even had a surprise (Ayo Abbas) visitor at the end. Massive thanks to Lucy Lomas, Marie Sparkes and Andy Matthews for their help... https://lnkd.in/et_TR-AU
