About us
Lürzer's Archive, the celebrated creative resource for advertising professionals worldwide, has been offering a full set of inspirational tools since 1984: the magazine; 200 Best Specials; and a soon to be updated website with 30 years of great advertising to explore in our archive.. It was back in the early 1980s that advertising copywriter and agency owner Walter Lürzer banged his fist down on the table and resolutely shouted out to himself: "If no one's going to do it for me, I'm going to have to do it myself - for everyone!" What he was referring to, back in that dark pre-internet era, was the laborious process of hunting out and compiling advertising campaigns from around the world. In those days, there were not many ways of finding out how products and services were being advertised in, say, America, Asia, or individual European countries. The first issue of Lürzer's Archive magazine was published October 1984 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and today the title has over 150,000 readers worldwide.

Lürzer's Archive x Good Ads Matter Trust Thai ad-makers to always be a step ahead of your expectations. Unmistakably an ad for insecticide, this set of visuals is a witty and clever idea that sells not only the insect repellent but also its product feature of providing “natural” protection. Warding off insects doesn’t get any more natural than the ways of the food chain, does it? Famous and looked up to, worldwide, for their melodramatic storytelling that is absurd beyond words and yet, somehow, relatable and hilarious, Thai ads continue to leave a lasting impression on the advertising world with these bold narratives! __ Lürzer's Archive commemorates a momentous milestone by curating the 40 greatest ads of the past 40 years. Lürzer's Archive reposted this
If you know me, you know I'm a hardcore soccer fan and player. So I was psyched when I got to talk about two of my favorite topics - sports and health - for Lürzer's Archive. Check it out: https://lnkd.in/e3CgRWvq
"Unlike sports advertising – where brands can tap into the deep emotional connections fans have with their favorite teams – health advertising can be perceived as disruptions and needs to work harder to create brand loyalty. That’s where the power of great storytelling comes in, allowing us to build emotional connections with audiences and create work that doesn’t feel like an interruption." Amy Fortunato, Vice President, Group Creative Director at Klick, joined other industry experts for a special report from Lürzer's Archive, where they mixed two of the fast-growth areas of advertising creativity together, Sports and Health: https://bit.ly/4e9iyHI
