We’ve secured a contract to design the offshore substation for RWE’s Five Estuaries Offshore Wind Farm, the extension of the Galloper Wind Farm. Our team will take the lead on designing the HVAC Offshore Substation Platform for this new project, located 37km off the Suffolk/Essex coast and expected to be operational by 2031. Once completed, the Five Estuaries Wind Farm will make a major contribution to the UK’s renewable energy goals, by powering hundreds of thousands of homes.
