Join GTC and Kensa Group on Thursday 31st October between 11am and 12pm for a one-hour workshop exploring how networked Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHPs) can transform energy use in housing developments, driving sustainability and cost savings. Discover how networked GSHPs offer a ground-breaking solution for heating, hot water, and cooling in homes, while requiring no more grid capacity than gas and providing a low-cost alternative to individual air source heat pumps. Why Attend? In this workshop, you'll explore how networked GSHP technology is reshaping the future of residential heating and how deploying these in large-scale housing developments, offers the most carbon-efficient and cost-effective energy solution available today. Key Takeaways: Find out how Networked Ground Source Heat Pumps: ◾ benefit your development ◾ how they work ◾ fit seamlessly into your development program ◾ require no grid upgrades ◾ offer hassle free heating and hot water And much more... We will end with a Q&A: Get informed answers to all your questions gained from first-hand experience. Happy European Heat Pump Day! A common heat pump misconception is that the technology is only suitable in newer buildings, but our member Kensa Group is proving it can help decarbonise heating in a wide range of homes. Last week, we got to tour the newly refurbished Sutton Dwellings in Chelsea - built in 1913 and retrofitted with heat pumps in 2024. Read the case study: https://lnkd.in/eGZVcAhu Pictured below: A Kensa shoebox heat pump installed in one of the Dwellings, and the Energy UK team visiting the site. #HeatPumps #DecarboniseHeat #HeatPumpDay
