🌟 The First Invictus Germany Sports Festival is in the Books! 🌟 We are overjoyed and deeply thankful that we could make this legacy project happen. Starting with a symposium, experts came together to discuss and exchange knowledge about rehabilitation and inclusion, focusing on the progress and development needed to provide the best possible support for those in need. On Saturday, the athletes arrived, and it was amazing to see their excitement. These incredible individuals have endured hard times and continue to navigate their recovery journey. Sport gives power and is an important part of recovery, so we hope that with this sports festival, we can make a small contribution to their journey. It is essential for us to continue the mission of the The Invictus Games Foundation to support to the whole wounded, injured and sick community, giving them a platform of support and exchange as well as visibility and respect in society We were thrilled to welcome 250 participants from 8 nations and 3 representatives from the blue light organizations at Castello Düsseldorf. The atmosphere was overwhelming, filled with camaraderie and sportsmanship. It was heartwarming to see the community cheer for each other and competitors giving their best. One unforgettable moment was when, after receiving their participation medals, all athletes spontaneously stood in a row to high-five and celebrate each other. A true goosebump moment! A big thank you goes out to the city of Düsseldorf and Mayor Dr. Stephan Keller for supporting this legacy project, to all the sponsors Boeing, Amazon, Lockheed Martin, Hines Germany, Concept2, Inc., btl next GmbH, Helaba, FUAV—without whom this would not have been possible—the Bundeswehr for their cooperation, and to all the volunteers who were not only great help but also priceless supporters. Thank you all for making this event a resounding success! 🙌✨ #InvictusGermany #Rehabilitation #Inclusion #WeareInvictus #Community D.SPORTS | D.LIVE

Amazing to see the wider extended impact of the #InvictusGames on the Jordanian service community. Boeing were inspired by Jordan's performance at the Invictus Games Dusseldorf 2023 and are now helping change lives and save lives in the country through this exciting new opportunity. #IAMHere
New mission, same heroes. Inspired by Team Jordan's remarkable performance at the 2023 Invictus Games, we've joined forces with Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities - Jordan, the Hashemite Commission for Disabled Soldiers and Amideast/Jordan to develop the “Disabled Soldiers Empowering Tourism” employability program. Through three comprehensive training courses, the program aims to prepare 50 Jordanian veterans with the skills needed to begin careers in Jordan’s tourism and aviation industries. HRH Prince Mired bin Ra’ad bin Zeid, President of the Hashemite Commission for Disabled Soldiers; HE Emad Hijazeen, Secretary General of Tourism and Antiquities of Jordan; Kuljit Ghata-Aura, Boeing President in the Middle East, Türkiye, Africa and Central Asia; and Jim Grabowski, Vice President of Amideast, joined the launch event in Amman. With over 20,000 veteran employees worldwide and as the global partner of The Invictus Games Foundation, veterans are an integral part of our company.
