It's so good we have TWO copies of it (different versions)! 🙃 Cialdini has written more than one book on influence (we'll share more another time), but this is the original and it's a belter. In it, you'll find the key psychological levers that will help you become more influential. Friday reflections on an incredible week 🙌 What a pleasure this week to be invited up to Scotland to join the team at Thrums Vets. 4 workshops delivered across two days and across two of the Thrums sites. 🤩 Time spent helping build skills and confidence around communicating the incredible value which the Thrums team offers their clients. We love a good book 📔   If you do too, then this is for you. Our book shelves are full of well-thumbed behavioural science books, and we want to share the love.   Here's one of our faves:   "Choice Factory" By Richard Shotton   First published in 2018, this one isn't new, but it is awesome.   Richard walks you through 25 cognitive biases that help you understand how people REALLY make decisions. It's written through an advertising lens, but the principles are equally applicable to teams in veterinary businesses in customer-facing roles. It's also enlightening to learn how your own behaviour is impacted by advertising that leans on these biases!   There are not far off 200 cognitive biases, all with their own nuance.
