Yesterday, I had the pleasure of joining a brilliant panel at the Adwanted Events Future of Media with Sarah Prentice from Heineken, Peter Rowe from NatWest, and our moderator, Jack Benjamin We tackled some of the most pressing challenges in media today.. How to ethically integrate social media, balancing its strategic purpose with the realities of its evolving pricing models. We delved into the complexity of carbon calculations versus the urgent need to prioritise sustainable investment, and why DEI must be embedded in media planning from the start. Addressing algorithmic bias and ensuring DEI is more than a box-ticking exercise is a priority, as is navigating the ethical dilemmas of AI while embracing its potential.
