This was exemplified by Liz Rychling, a highly accomplished risk manager at MGM Resorts International, during her recent time at Inigo. Instead of opting for a break during her sabbatical, Liz chose to immerse herself in the underwriters' world in London, furthering her understanding of the specialty market at Inigo. We were honoured by Liz's decision to spend some of her time with us. Her enthusiasm, curiosity, and passion resonated with our values from the outset, creating an immediate chemistry. Her commitment to learning and growth was a testament to her leadership and the change she wishes to see in her world. Looking ahead, life science companies are expected to remain a focal point in US Securities Class Action (SCA) filings. In 2023, there were a total of 43 US SCAs filed against life science companies, indicating that approximately one in five SCA filings targeted these companies. These filings predominantly revolved around allegations of misrepresentations concerning product efficacy and safety, as well as financial reporting inaccuracies. Specifically, 46.5% of the suits filed were related to product efficacy and 34.9% were related to financial reporting.
