🗳 Happy polling day everyone! 🗳 As we all prepare for a change in government and high turnover of MPs, we wanted to share a reminder of the 24 PPCs we picked out back in February, who will likely shape the debate on health in the UK in 2024 and beyond: https://lnkd.in/eCyvkYpb Many established and respected health champions have stepped down (who we bid farewell to at the end of May https://lnkd.in/eQut6Vpn), creating an opportunity for new faces and voices to make their mark. 📢 🚌 All aboard the Incisive Health battle bus! 🚌 📢 Our last stop before the General Election has taken us north of the border to Mid Dunbartonshire – home of The Gruffalo and Scotland’s most marginal seat in the 2019 election.   A seat that changes like the wind, with each election result since 2005 flitting between Liberal Democrats and SNP, it didn’t seem possible to have a tighter election than last, but here we are! In a seat as unpredictable as this, Mid Dunbartonshire voting to re-elect SNP would send a strong signal to Westminster of the continued appeal of the party’s message – especially given the difficulties facing SNP in the last year. Can incumbent MP and health champion Amy Callaghan hang on to her seat, or will Mid Dunbartonshire choose to put their faith in local campaigner and Liberal Democrat Councillor Susan Murray? 📢 🚌 All aboard the Incisive Health battle bus! 🚌 📢 Our next stop is Aylesbury, a constituency being thrust into a proper election battle for the first time in over a century. Could the birthplace of the Paralympics produce a gold medal election moment?   A traditional Tory heartland, Aylesbury is one of just 94 UK constituencies to have only returned a Conservative MP in the last 100 years. And yet, poll after poll is showing a tightly fought contest – could this brick in the ‘blue wall’ turn red?
