Year 2 ✅ Year 3 🚀 As some of you will know, Housr has expanded in the 🇺🇸 in the form of myhousr and has secured its first multi-million $ deal... More on that later.  __ I am currently across the pond and will be for the next month, helping with our US expansion and kicking off our Series A funding round. I have availability in NYC 🗽 between 26th August and 2nd September and San Francisco between 7th and 10th September - if you're interested in learning more about what the future of rental looks like, drop me a note, let's chat. 🇺🇸  __ Last week I closed off our Year 2 at our EOY awards and all hands with the team. As I was collating everything for the presentation I realised something... We are now in the race. 🏃♂️ What Race you may add? The race to becoming the future of student rental, internationally and the next Unicorn on the block. Sounds crazy? Well if you would have told Ben Clayton and I that we would be at 25% of the level of growth that we are at today, I would have said that was crazier and well, impossible, given the lack of PMF this time last year. 🙈 Over the past 4 years, we have trained for this race, through constant iteration, innovation and focused building, we have now reached the 'Hypergrowth phase' over the past 12 months. 🏎 4 years since we started.  2 years in Market. Year 1 = We found early Product market fit 👶and understood our customer. Year 2 = We scaled and went deeper into our niche whilst entering new markets and focusing on building. ⚡️ Year 3 = We have entered Hyper-growth mode and will have a core focus on product. 🌎 Over the past 12 months: 🚀 Grown 150x from $20,000 to $3,000,000 in ARR. 🚀 There was 7 of us now we are going on 59 globally. 🚀 Working in coffee shops and co-working areas to now having 3 offices, internationally.  🚀 We had 2.5m interactions on the platform and saw that 38% of our users came back to our app more than once a day, every day, all year.  🚀 We provided our letting agents a new way to rent their homes and provided on average 127 student ‘leads’ per property listed on our platform. 🚀 We launched 7 different products, one being Housr utilities, that now has thousands of students paying bills at an average value of £23.50 per week!  🚀 We have expanded across the UK by 200% and now operate in Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham and Leeds! … 🚀 Most of all, we have expanded across the pond to the US and are the official housing app of one of the largest colleges in the United States of America - I look forward to being able to announce who this is in due course, but for now enjoy a picture below 👀 So, with the close of Y2 and the start of Y3 I have one last thing to say. The market doesn’t know what’s just hit it. Over the next 12 months we will put Housr in the hands of millions of students across the UK and the US and begin to change consumer behaviours, making finding a home as easy as ordering an Uber.
