Quite excited for tonight's session on Faith and Belief on Migration of Homelessness hosted by GMCA, There are sub group categories of people who when facing homelessness have their own community to call upon to help - learning how Faith and Beliefs tie in and what they do and can do will be very interesting session. Part of a wider InterFaith Week - going as a man without Faith, but willing to be open, honest and hear what the room says. I know (well like to think) a lot around LGBTQ+ so hearing about what other groups do will be great learning! My love for helping people especially those in my community never fails to make me feel all warm inside, Yesterday evening part of the LGBTQ+ Housing Drop In I run at The LGBT Foundation saw a gay guy who is a non UK national fleeing domestic abuse from his partner in Wales, I was so happy to help him gain interim accommodation via Manchester City Council so he wasn't on the streets for much longer, Please spread the word! Last Thursday of each month (Currently) 3pm - 6pm at the LGBT Foundation in Manchester, you don't need a local connection for this service I will help who ever turns up and needs help!
