Our firm has been recognised as a finalist in the 2024 Relativity Fest Innovation Awards. The Innovation Award for Best Innovation celebrates the curious change makers who are making an impact by building custom solutions, empowering people and forging new paths to improve the legal industry. It is fantastic to be recognised as an in-house or law firm team that uses the Relativity platform in creative ways to solve unique client challenges. When using Relativity’s applications and integrations for large scale legal reviews and document productions, it is critical that clients and legal teams can track the consistency across coding and redaction workflows in real time. Our app development team have developed HSF Proof, a custom application in RelativityOne, that allows lawyers to seamlessly and quickly identify redaction discrepancies between similar documents. This app allows our legal teams to do more high value work in a short space of time, typically in the lead up to document production deadlines, which is enormously beneficial to our clients. The Relativity Fest Innovation Awards continue to celebrate both individual contributions to the e-discovery community as well as the new and innovative solutions for the Relativity Community that help lawyers and litigation support experts solve complex or unique issues inside and outside of e-discovery. We wish all the finalists the best of luck, when the awards are announced at Relativity Fest in Chicago from 25 – 27 September. https://lnkd.in/dB7QPEYr #relativityfest #innovationaward #relativityone

Explore the powerful portrayal of Yeside, brought to life by her friend and fellow artist, Peter James Field with remarkable attention to detail. See the portrait up close at the Herbert Smith Freehills Portrait Award exhibition - open until 27 October. #Portraiture #NationalPortraitGallery
In creating this portrait, Peter James Field aimed to capture the strong and purposeful character of his friend and fellow artist, Yeside. On the day of the sitting, they spent several hours at Yeside's home experimenting with various poses and lighting. Yeside selected a robe dyed in shades of red and lilac and ultimately struck a pose instinctively, without any direction from the artist. Field deliberately emphasized her hands, believing they conveyed as much emotion as her face. 📍 Find this work on display in the Herbert Smith Freehills Portrait Award 2024 ⭐ Admission free 📅 On until 27 October 🤝 Supported by Herbert Smith Freehills 🎨 Yeside By Peter James Field, 2023 © Peter James Field

Our Tokyo team has advised longstanding client Sumitomo Corporation on an agreement to distribute construction machinery in Europe and Africa. The agreement includes a minority investment by Sumitomo Corporation in BIA Group, enhancing the company's exposure to BIA Group's distribution networks in Europe and Africa. As infrastructure investment in Africa grows, so does demand for the machinery to build the continent's energy transition, transport and digital projects.
