Today, Shane Jagger, the chair of our LGBTQ+ network, and Rosina Simmons, chair of AtkinsRéalis's LGBTQ+ network, hosted an event for our people focused on embracing diversity. The session covered various topics around LGBTQ+ awareness, inclusivity, and the role we play. The conversation was very informative and, more importantly, sparked conversations in the room. Recently, Moment to Paws visited us at the Isaacs building. They brought along some of their trained, affectionate workplace therapy dogs. In small groups, we were encouraged to completely switch off, cuddle, and recharge with their four-legged friends. To ensure a safe environment, they brought air purifiers with them and stayed in one room in the office to support our colleagues who have allergies. #HenryBoot #wheregreatplacesstart #workplacewellness #mentalhealth
