🩺🏥 What will it actually take to fix the NHS? 🏥🩺 Meet Healthtech 1, the start-up who believe they can make a bigger impact on the NHS than the new Labour government. Over the next 12 months, this Gather documentary series will follow the Healthtech-1 team as they work towards their mission of making the NHS the most advanced healthcare system in the world. ☝️ Peter and Raj are two best friends from school who co-founded the business after helping out Raj’s parents GP practice during COVID. Starting from the ground up—literally, from inside an East London GP practice—Pete, Raj, and their team have built technology that automates manual  processes, saving the NHS staff time and adding capacity back into the system. 📈 Results so far: • 241,933 NHS staff hours saved • 10,342 patient appointments added • 7,897 years of patient wait time eliminated The Government committed to adding 2 million appointments to the system. Raj and Pete believe they could add the equivalent of 2 million appointments per year through automation and technology improvements. Can a small, committed team of NHS staff, operators, and engineers achieve their ambitious goals?
