This #ADHDAwarenessMonth we are highlighting the latest impact of the innovation QbTest. An objective assessment to aid in the diagnosis of ADHD. We are proud to see that despite this being a former programme, more and more patients continue to benefit, and it has transformed ADHD services for children and young people. Between April 2020 – 2024, the implementation of this programme has helped the NHS to save over 95,000 hours of clinical time, saving the NHS an estimated £38.5M. We’re thrilled to announce we’ve won a prestigious national award for our work aimed at mitigating the impact of fuel poverty. PrescQIPP, the community interest company that supports the NHS in delivering medicines-related care, awarded us the accolade in the health inequalities section of their annual awards. We and our partners NHS Cheshire and Merseyside also received the gold award for the best presentation among the winners of the five categories. Our team's project focused on trailblazer sites in Cheshire and Merseyside where around 1.5m people have a medical condition that makes them especially vulnerable to poorly heated homes. The latest annual report from The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre Research and Innovation Directorate has now been published – detailing the hugely varied range of initiatives taking place at the Trust. The Research & Innovation Annual Report 2023-2024 runs to 48 pages and details developments in clinical trials, research studies, staff wellbeing, training, individual accolades and more. It gives a month-by-month breakdown of the most important happenings across the year and showcases the work of Clatterbridge teams as well as individuals.
