This year is a real milestone for the Greggs Foundation - 25 years of serving nutritious breakfasts to children at Breakfast Clubs across the country! Today is the last day of our appeal week and to celebrate, why not give 25p for 25 years when paying at the till at Greggs??

It’s the 25th anniversary of our breakfast club programme this year and to celebrate, we’re launching our second appeal week❤️ Donate 25p at any Greggs shop and help the tens of thousands of children we support every day with a brighter start to the school day.   Earlier this year, Greggs colleagues and customers raised an incredible £150,000 during the first appeal week, an incredible 50% more than the same appeal week in 2023 so THANK YOU.

Such an amazing day out on the water with The Boparan Charitable Trust and we think this short film really captures the competitive spirit that we were all feeling in those dragon boats! Thank you again to everyone who turned out for this fundraising day!  

July Fundraising Success for The Greggs Foundation! We are thrilled to share that we had not one but TWO successful fundraising events in July, raising over £59,000! On July 18th, we hosted our first-ever dragon boat race on the river Tees, in partnership with The Boparan Charitable Trust. The sun was shining as 16 businesses showed off their rowing skills in a series of dramatic races. Congratulations to the joint Piroto and Contrac boat for their victory! A big shoutout to all the businesses that participated and the on-board drummers who kept the rhythm going. Thanks to everyone's hard work, we raised over £41,000 at this event!   Earlier in the month, on July 11th, over 90 golfers braved the British weather at Close House for our annual North Charity Golf Day. The day was filled with fun and friendly competition, and we raised over £18,500! Special thanks to our sponsors and all the attendees for always making this event such a highlight of our fundraising calendar. And a huge thank you to everyone who participated in and came along to these events – we know the time and effort that goes into them and your support means so much!

🌟 We are now welcoming applications for Greggs Foundation Community Grants! 🌟 The current round of funding opened today and will close at 12 noon on the 23rd August. In this round, we are inviting applications from organisations based in and delivering services in the following areas: Northumberland Stockton-on-Tees Jaywick & West Clacton Rhyl We do ask that only organisations in the focus areas outlined above apply in this particular round but we will be looking at new locations during the next funding round. We shared the work of The Marie Trust in our recent impact report to shine a light on the many initiatives managed by this busy organisation to help alleviate homelessness and promote greater social inclusion in Glasgow, Scotland.   We visited the The Marie Trust earlier in the year to find our more about the work they do from their city centre hub and how the Greggs Foundation Community Grant is used in the subsidised community cafe.
