Huge thanks to all those fabulous businesses who donated stock at the end of the Glee Birmingham Show this time two weeks ago – and to the Hyve team for helping us facilitate this fundraising opportunity at their event. We’re delighted that collectively all these products raised more than £3,000 for our charity when they were auctioned off by our friends at W&H Peacock Auctioneers & Valuers. These vital funds will make ALL the difference to our work creating magical gardens in children’s hospices across the UK this year and beyond, so THANK YOU! 💚 #togethermakingadifference #turnoldintogold

THANK YOU to all the exhibitors, visitors, volunteers and the organisers of the Glee Birmingham Show for a fantastic few days at the NEC. It was great to be part of Glee, one of the very best shows in Birmingham! A fabulous £2.5k was raised on #FloralThursday AND a lorry filled with donated products left the show, to be auctioned by W & H Peacocks next week. All the money raised will go a very long way to supporting our work, creating magical gardens in children’s hospices. We are forever grateful for your continued support! 💚🌻💚 We look forward to seeing you in your best (or worst) florals again next year! #thankyou #togethermakingadifference #FloralThursday

Thank you. This is such a great way to support our work and help make a difference 🌻
Happy Stand Up to Cancer Day! Today, we celebrate the strength and resilience of all those fighting this brave battle. Many of our followers know that we support the fantastic charity GREENFINGERS CHARITY who build and tend to hospice gardens for very unwell children, many of whom battle with this disease. When you select products from the Arbour Landscape Solutions range that display the famous Greenfingers hand logo, a percentage of that sale is sent to Greenfingers. Next time you are shopping with us, choose from the many materials that display that green hand knowing that every little bit helps towards this charity's amazing work. #StandUpToCancerDay #TogetherWeStand #CancerAwareness

Our supporters often go the extra (s)mile to support our work and today Kate Ebbens who has embarked on a year long daily challenge has done just that. As it’s #FloralThursday, Kate and friends have dusted down their floral Lycra to run 5km…and are heading to the NEC for the final day of the Glee Birmingham Show. They’ll be meeting and greeting exhibitors and visitors and raising funds to help build magical gardens in children’s hospices! If running, or wearing Lycra, are your worst nightmare, you can do the easy bit and help Kate reach her fundraising target by sponsoring her today! #togethermakingadifference #366challenge https://lnkd.in/euXNYedb

Becky Rose you were amazing and your fundraising phenomenal - we really can’t thank you and all those who sponsored you enough for raising such a great amount. It was great to see your lovely family cheering you on too! Looking forward to seeing you at Glee Birmingham Show and to supporting your fundraising efforts when you loop the loop next year! #thankyou #togethermakingadifference
On Tuesday this week I faced my fear of flying in the best, most crazy way possible… a charity wingwalk all in aid of GREENFINGERS CHARITY. I’ve raised an incredible £1205 and I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that sponsored me. James Mitchell and our children came to support me along with the Greenfingers team and we all had a fantastic day too! I’ll be back next year raising money again for Greenfingers with my Wingwalk 2025 - higher, faster and an upside down loop the loop! 🫣

The 16th July marked another significant milestone for both the Greenfingers Charity and the team at Derian House Children's Hospice as the all-new Sensory Garden was officially opened. Almost three years in the making, the new Greenfingers garden - located at the heart of the hospice - has now been handed to the hospice staff, service users, and their families. A garden space, accessible via the main hospice building and overlooked by children’s bedrooms, now features a mixture of interactive zones linked by a central covered space that allows all service users to spend time outside whatever the weather. More importantly, the vital privacy of those rooms overlooking the garden has been permanently maintained. As the name suggests the Sensory Garden combines functionality and privacy alongside places of reflection, fun and memorial. Imaginative and subdued lighting schemes have also been adopted to create interest after dark, whilst new seating areas have been introduced to provide more pockets of quiet and privacy for everyone from young people to family and staff. Specific areas have been created with plants to heighten the senses, offering a truly immersive experience for the children. We are fortunate to have a fabulous team of loyal volunteer Ambassadors who support our work in many different ways. Huge thanks to our newest Ambassador, Jessica Dabell, Meadow View Stone's Brand Manager, who recently gave her time to look after the GREENFINGERS CHARITY stand at The National Plant Show. Speaking about her new role, Jessica said: “I am delighted and honoured to have been selected as an ambassador for The Greenfingers Charity. Meadow View Stone are avid supporters of this fantastic cause and my appointment further strengthens our great working relationship and commitment to this wonderful charity. Through my role as an ambassador, I am looking forward to raising greater awareness, and committing fully into the many fundraising initiatives undertaken by Greenfingers.” Jess is also on the organising Committee for The Greenfingers Floral Ball, an event which promises to be a fabulous celebratory occasion at the stunning Coombe Abbey Hotel in Coventry, on 26th June next year. #togethermakingadifference #charitysupport
