Our values are growing. We recently decided that as Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity grows, so should our values. Over the last year, as our team doubled in size we felt it was time to identify a new staff-led value that meant something to us. The recent addition of ‘Accountable’ will ensure we'll always strive to do our best, work our hardest and be accountable for our actions. We aim to move at PACE when working to end homelessness. We will not stop until together, we have ended homelessness. Want to join us? This isn't the first time Angela Rayner has been spotted behind the decks dancing to some rave classics… take a look at what happened in 2022 at our DJ Battle. The night saw Andy Burnham and Steve Rotherham take to the decks alongside a phenomenal roster of special guests to decide once and for all which city-region has the best music… looking at this video it is pretty clear who won. This event was held to raise all important funds to help tackle homelessness and rough sleeping in Greater Manchester. Keep an eye out for our 2025 edition!

It’s been a week since 47 teams battled it out under the vaulted arches of Manchester Central to become Greater Manchester’s Strongest Team and we wish we could do it all over again! Thank you, Greater Manchester, for showing that together, we can end homelessness. The day raised over £28,000 and was an inspirational show of strength from the business community of Greater Manchester. The business community of Greater Manchester were out in force. And, alongside the teams competing, We Are Footprint joined as headline sponsors, with further sponsorship from Clear Futures and Go North West. Without their support the event would not have been the success it was. Read more about it here: https://lnkd.in/db5ST6Dx And, if you are inspired by our 2024 Bus Pull and want to know how your business or organisation can get involved with our next big fundraiser, get in touch today! Great video We Are Footprint! Huge thank you to you all for your support as headline sponsors. Already excited for round 3... 🚌 🚌 🚌
Well last Thursday was simply immense! Being headline sponsor of the Greater Manchester Mayor's Charity Bus Pull was a proud moment for us as a company and it was great to see so many familiar faces entering teams. As a team we consisted of Stephen Carr, Chris Coward, Jack Berry with special mentions to Emma Sharples and our specialist employment solicitor Gaynor Beckett for showing the lads how its done and getting us across the line in 26 seconds, narrowly beating the likes of Willmott Dixon, Cara Group, Dalkia UK and Lendlease. Next year looks to be seriously competitive! Reflecting on the day, We Are Footprint Group Director Stephen Carr had this to say: "Wow what a day! Sponsoring and taking part in the Greater Manchester Mayor's Charity Bus Pull event really has been a rewarding and memorable experience. Massive thanks to Fran and all the team at the Greater Manchester Mayor's Charity for organising the event. Everyone at We Are Footprint firmly believes that everyone deserves the security and dignity of a bed every night, and we're proud to play a small part in making homelessness a thing of the past. Although pulling the bus was quite the workout, it demonstrates what can be achieved if everyone pulls in the same direction." - Stephen Carr, Group Director of We Are Footprint. #GreaterManchesterMayor #CharityBusPull #WeAreFootprint #EndHomelessness #SocialInclusion #EthicalRecruitment #LevelPlayingField #CommunitySupport #SocialValue #socialenterprise

Our Bus Pull wouldn’t have been the success it was without the support of businesses and organisations across Greater Manchester. These include Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue, Lifting and Safety Services and Manchester Breakdown Services. Thank you for all your support with the equipment you provided to tow the buses. Thank you for showing that together, we can end homelessness.

We are still reeling from yesterday’s Bus Pull! Thank you so much to everyone who got involved. From the organisations that supported us, the amazing volunteers who gave their time, to the brave bus pullers, and those who have donated. Thanks to you we have raised over £27,000 and counting! That’s incredible. No one deserves to be without a home, or to face a night on the streets. With the numbers of people experiencing homelessness across Greater Manchester and the country continuing to rise, thank you Greater Manchester for coming together in this inspirational show of strength. Together, we can end homelessness.
