About us

Geneva Pearl is a purposeful consultancy with a primary focus on guiding organisations through the complexities of creating a culture that supports business strategy. We’ll assess your current culture, work with you to define your desired culture and how to get there, breaking down barriers and overcoming challenges on the way. We not only help you determine your current position, we also help build and execute the strategy, crucially turning it into actionable steps. Recognising the need for senior leader sponsorship during change, for a greater chance of culture change success we also work with leaders to build the strongest and most effective leadership team and support them to build the best relationships with their people. Past and present clients have enjoyed success using a mix of our services including culture and people change, leadership effectiveness, strategy development, programme management and executive coaching.

    Why our Geneva Pearl's Director and Chief https://lnkd.in/evHg6ACM is passionate about helping others grow and how it shapes everything she does. There was nothing I particularly excelled at as a young adult and was envious of my friends who knew what they wanted to be, wondering why I didn’t. After school I headed to college, but unlike my friends, could not get that ‘Saturday job’. Was I not good enough ❓ I tried lots of things to get into work; Government initiatives, work experience, volunteering, each coming to nothing. Was I really not good enough❓ I finally got a job and within 3 years became a Manager. I was a Manager at age 21 and my career was progressing, so I thought 🤔 I loved my job and tried for promotion, each time being told I was missing this skill or that. Off I'd go to get that skill or qualification and when I proudly presented what I had achieved, I'd be told something else was missing. I watched others around me being given the opportunities without the skills or qualifications I was told to get. There were constant barriers and obstacles. After much soul searching and self reflection, I reframed the 'what am I good at' to 'what do I love doing' , this was the game changer for me. It became clear these were my strengths. Once this was known, I was then able to look for things that involved my most dominant strengths. I AM GOOD ENOUGH and I'm living my best life. People who identify and develop their strengths have increased confidence, improved performance and greater overall satisfaction and can too live their best life. My work is set on a foundation of helping clients develop their strengths and aim them for a better life.     So many Team Leaders struggle to motivate and engage their teams. 👇 This is what we've learned about LOW ENGAGEMENT - and what you can do about it. Employee engagement is one of the key facets of a productive workforce so employers need to do all they can to motivate employees. Leaders across the globe know it can be tricky to get right. There are a multitude of reasons, working with teams for over 30 years, these are my top 3: 💎 The role is unclear Where employees are not clear of their role and responsibilities they find it difficult to find their 'flow'. They are constantly questioning what and why they are doing something, often spending lots of valuable time trying to work it out. The level of effort it takes is tiring which quickly leads to lack of motivation. 💎Management are not open enough We all want to trust those we're working for. We want our leaders to be open and honest. Where we feel that is not the case, morale drops and is hard to rebuild. 💎The vision is not clear How can a team move together when where they are heading is not clear? Something many leaders fail to grasp is the need for everyone to buy into where the organisation is heading, what they are striving for. Your eyes creep open on Sunday morning and you take your first deep breath, grateful for another day. 🥲 You role over and remember it is just one more sleep until Monday.
