Global Energy Services is delighted to announce the awarding of a 12-month extension to our ongoing scaffold support contract with a valued oil & gas rig operator. This extension will see our specialist teams working alongside the client’s core crew to support a number of their offshore developments. We would like to thank our valued client for entrusting Global Energy Services to deliver the design and build of two large scaffold encapsulations to support ongoing assembly works at the Port of Nigg. These habitats are required to provide a climate-controlled environment for the safe storage of sensitive wind turbine components post-assembly. Once shrink-wrapped, the encapsulations will be fitted with an LED lighting system to provide an average illuminance of 150LUX, while also installing two 18kW industrial space heaters to support the maintenance of relative humidity at a maximum of 60%.
