Looking forward to sharing the stories from our city that have made many a Stokie cry, brought many people from outside the city to dine with us. When you take the ingredients of time, place and people the connection that is made is far greater than dining, it’s is a true connection to the possibilities that exist in a city. Every city has great stories. You’ve just got to believe Visit Stoke Enjoy Staffordshire

Bringing the industry together from across the region, connecting, sharing best practice and working together to nurture and grow a truly world-class #food #drink #manufacturing and #hospitality offer here in the North East. We have over 40 guests tomorrow evening who will be welcomed with showstopping drinks from Northumberland based cocktail company, Hummingbird Drinks Ltd Christopher Green Rebecca Green Leveraging our national network, we are delighted to welcome a stellar set of panellists who will be talking to our Events Director Nichola Reeder about their future outlook, the challenges faced by the industry and what we need to do to solve them. We think A Room With A View will grow into an unmissable, quarterly event that will encourage a pragmatic coming together of the regions leaders movers, shakers and proper decision makers. The power is in the people… Julia Mottershead joined us for Chef’s Table. I think every food teacher should experience a dining experience like this and be able to share this perspective with students. It’s great to be working with Julia, supporting the students at Thistley Hough Academy here in Stoke on Trent. #chefstable #fromplottoplate

Let me tell you about lastnight.... Lastnight, I was invited to work at Cris Cohen restaurant FEASTED for one night only, I was deemed "Front of House" staff... To me this was not only a chance to help a friend, a local business and the community... This was a chance for me to complete work experience on the front line of the industry, which is what I encourage my students to do...How can I ask them to do something I've never done myself, now I have! To me, gathering personal experience in the industry I teach is extremely important to help teach, support and guide my students at Thistley Hough Academy part of the Creative Education Trust. Jo Gideon MP, Charlotte Eccles, Henry Dimbleby, Rachel Colerick, Noel Kennedy and Kate Ward this was a great experience to learn so much and build community cohesions and support our city, local businesses and students together... This is #fromplottoplate, this is just the beginning...

    What’s the message behind the B R A N D ? P O S S I B I T Y is the leading word here… It falls into 3 notions 1 The P O S S I B I L I T Y that food can be a driver for change 2 The P O S S I B I L I T Y that post industrial places can embrace their history and heritage to realise what their future is 3 The P O S S I B I L I T Y of people The word B E L I E F… That’s you. That’s where you come in. B E L I E F is where connection happens. The opposite of connection is the reason why people look for escape at the weekend. Give people connection and belief…That’s where change begins. B E L I E V E I N P O S S I B I L I T Y that’s not what we do, that’s where you come in #believeinpossibility #brand #you
