Yesterday I was lucky enough to witness an employee award presentation at Marshmallow. Kudos to them for gathering around to mark their exponential growth and rewarding the people who have made this happen. Particularly interesting was that there was a professional photographer there (I think he was video'ing and taking stills). I was impressed. As far as I know, a pro photographer at an internal event isn't that common? Being an observer (for once!), I could see that the "lights, camera, action!' activity subtly elevated the event and made it feel even more special. It was an occasion that was marked, one that would be remembered. A thoughtful investment that clearly made the Marshmellow team feel even more valued.
