Founded on a desire to improve the quality and efficiency of event incident management, Event Command is the future of event control rooms. All of our team have a background in Event Management and/or the emergency services and bring with them a wealth of experience and knowledge in a variety of sectors. From incident loggers to analysts, controllers to tactical commanders - and everything in between - we can coordinate the response to any scenario your event could throw at us.

    “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life” Houghton Festival is always a pleasure, but this year was something really special. Incredible inter-operability, excellent teamwork and a ton of middle of the night laughter that probably woke a few customers up at times - it really has been a joy. Event Command provided operations management, gate management, control room management and staffing along with our custom Incident Management Portal. I took very few actual event photos this weekend, so at silly o’clock this morning Mersey Medical Services Ltd and Event Command Limited decided to do a little joint working photoshoot featuring the only paperwork any of us had to hand - a Co-op Live Staff Handbook!

Recieving this email from a contractor present in one of our regular venue control rooms was pretty special.     The control room, vilified by some, relied upon by all. Often a thankless task, expected to know everything and ask not very much. It’s a tight knit team who have to rely on each other and more importantly on voices they’ve often never met to get the job done. It’s rare to get praise like the email below, after all, we just turn up and make things happen. But this email shows the standards that Ben Sidaway has set alongside the entire Event Command Limited team in the UK’s largest music first venue.

    Today marks the start of our 2024 festival deployments, and more importantly the first day our team have worn their new uniform! If you’re on site with the Event Command Limited team this summer, you’ll be sure to see them showing it off! We’ve even included the #BeSafeBeSound campaign from Counter Terrorism Policing which we’ve been a proud supporter of for several years. The campaign encourages the public and event staff to report anything that concerns them and is a crucial part of the event industry’s renewed approach to deterring and detecting hostile acts at our shows.     It’s a tough job, but someone’s got to do it! We’ve joined the team at DnB Allstars this weekend, on behalf of our client, to deliver the control room management for DnB Allstars Portugal! We’ve deployed an ex-police controller to manage and co-ordinate the control room, and the entire command and control function is being powered by our custom Incident Management Portal, enabling realtime information sharing for enhanced situational awareness. We’ve also deployed our lost property management system to streamline the process of dealing with the inevitable lost and found items, and reunite as many fans as possible with their belongings.     We don’t just run control rooms. We design environments, layouts and signage which makes operators roles easier and empowers them to carry out their role to the highest standard. We worked with Broadwick to design their new event control centre for Drumsheds, the world’s largest club. Each controller’s position was chosen to be closest to the other agencies they will need to work with most, the CCTV layout to reflect the layout of the room, the signage to facilitate the strongest information sharing and the digital signage content to monitor internal and external intelligence sources. Powering the decision making process is our custom Incident Management Portal, with several features created specially for DRUMSHEDS. A new statistic gathering tool to monitor trends across the day; a lost property management tool which communicates with customers by SMS & email and a clinical notification function which delivers push notifications to the senior clinicians on site in the event of a life threatening medical report. All this helps to keep DRUMSHEDS London customers safe, protect the Broadwick brand and ensure every visitor has an enjoyable experience. #eventcontrol #eventmanagement #eventoperations #controlroom #nightclub
