Apax changes focus of healthcare investing - Founder member Apax announced that it will focus new investments in healthcare on healthcare adjacencies such as technology, consumer and services, including distribution and pharma services. It will also continue to invest via its Impact Fund and to actively support existing portfolio companies. The firm will not, as indicated by Bloomberg, cease to make healthcare investments, but the existing healthcare team will either leave or be reassigned internally to other sectors.
