Al-hamdulilāh, The East London Mosque held its first ever Minaret Cup Match last Saturday, on the 31st of August 2024. Imāms & ‘Huffādh from up and down the country participated in a competitive 11-a-side match. The final score was 8-3 to Imams All Stars, who had our very own ELM Imāms representing the team. The main purpose of this match was to raise funds for Palestine. Through the efforts of all the Imāms/‘Huffādh who participated, we managed to raise over £20,000 for our brothers and sisters in Palestine, Al-hamdulilāh!
