💛 We are looking for a Temporary Community and Events Assistant to support the work of the Community and Events team in the delivery of all fundraising activities, helping to deliver income against targets, who will provide excellent administrative and practical support to fundraisers and volunteers. The ideal candidate will have: 🔹Proactive attitude 🔹Drive and enthusiasm to get things done 🔹Commitment of working with others as part of a team. There are some volunteer slots remaining for Art Fair Cheshire this year. 🎨The exhibition runs from 26th September to 3rd October, with some volunteering tasks taking place before and after the event dates.📅 We are looking for support with the following tasks in particular: Selling raffle tickets (mostly prior to the event) Assisting with checking artist inventory upon arrival Welcome desk Sales desk Gallery steward Assistance with hanging and moving artwork Cake baking Serving teas and coffees If you/your team are available and would like to support with any of the above, please email Community and Events Fundraiser Claire Gorton [email protected] highlighting your availability and preferred role/s. 💛 Lily Stratton took on the challenge of a Wingwalk high up in the sky and has raised over £1400 for East Cheshire Hospice in memory of her dad Ron. Lily said: "I chose East Cheshire Hospice as they provided exceptional care for my dad, Ron, during the final stages of his life. The Hospice team not only ensured that he was comfortable and well-cared for, but they also offered invaluable support to our family during those challenging times. Their dedication and kindness has left a lasting impact on us, and I wanted to give back to this wonderful organisation." 🌻
