📢 AECC School of Chiropractic Expands with New London Base 🏙️ AECC School of Chiropractic is pleased to announce a new base in London, with chiropractic being taught at the University’s new Central London campus from January 2025. The MSc Chiropractic (pre-registration) course will launch in London in January and will be followed by further chiropractic courses later in the year. Vice-Chancellor at Health Sciences University, Prof Lesley Haig, said: “Having a base like this and a home for chiropractic in London has long been an aspiration of the profession and it is fantastic to see this come to fruition. This programme is designed to support businesses in Dorset to engage with the health and social care sector, helping them to diversify their offerings and explore new opportunities within the sector’s supply chain. The successful delivery partner will play a pivotal role in engaging SMEs and stakeholders within the Integrated Care System (ICS) in particular the Integrated Care Board (ICB) and the Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) including Dorset Innovation Hub in addition to academic institutions including Bournemouth University (BU), Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) and Health Sciences University (HSU). Pan Dorset - A Framework for Growth 📈 📢 We want your views on our draft economic framework We have published for consultation a draft framework for growth. This sets out plans to stimulate growth and improve the prospects for people living in the Pan #Dorset area. The framework covers the BCP Council area and the Dorset Council UK Council area, which reflects the need to make policy on a scale that reflects people’s working, commuting and social patterns.  The main purpose of the document is to articulate a shared sense of direction for the area, so that businesses, partners and stakeholders can get behind it and take co-ordinated action to achieve it. It serves to communicate our collective ambitions beyond our area and identify ways that we can collectively work with partners in other geographic areas to further joint objectives. It will also help us to identify investment priorities for the pan Dorset area which will help us to lay the groundwork for future funding bids and potential deals with Government. This collaboration not only enhances patient access to diagnostic services but also strengthens workforce development. As Dorset’s only provider of pre-registration radiography courses, HSU is uniquely positioned to contribute to training the next generation of healthcare professionals.
