No rights, no problem - How to reinvent live coverage A lack of rights can often be considered a limitation to creating live touch-points with fan bases in sports. Not for World Archery. In their mission to engage and inform their audience + create a more modern approach to the live experience, we have been working with them all year to create live watch-along experiences where there is no broadcast video feed. And the action in Paris is no different. To better explain what was happening during the game, we created a custom creative innovation, allowing a virtual target to be marked with the arrow hits in real-time. This allowed for the usual insights to be delivered by the watch-along team, with an authentic visual component that allows the sport to be more easily understood. Fans also struggled to find local coverage in their native countries, so this watch-along plays an important role for the Archery community signposting where they can watch the live pictures too. The formula for successful live fan engagement is simple.
