Last Wednesday marked the end of ROSCon, and Martin, our Staff Engineer, came back with valuable insights to share. ROSCon (Open Robotics) is the annual gathering of developers, engineers, and robotics enthusiasts working with ROS (Robot Operating System) – an open-source framework that provides essential tools, libraries, and conventions for building complex and scalable robot applications. Martin’s key takeaway? “Get your robot out there, test it in the real world.” "One of the biggest lessons I've learned here is that mix of hardware and software is so complicated to get right in a lab. Once you're out there, you can really see how it interacts with people."
