Sophie, Ida and Judy from our Sustainability Team carried out a BREEAM site survey of the Tate Centre next to Sussex County Cricket Ground in Brighton earlier this week. 🏢 The Tate Centre is part of the Roffey Homes development, including a bar and an outstanding 37 residential units alongside 3 commercial units. Thanks to Steve Hodges of Westbrooke Developments for showing us round, and helping us collect the BREEAM Post Construction evidence. The Tate Centre is a step closer to achieving its BREEAM excellent certificate now. 🏅 For more information on our sustainability services, head to our website below!⬇️ https://deltagreen.co.uk/ #breeam #sustainableconstruction #sustainability #brighton

Mechanical, Electrical and Sustainability Consultants providing holistic solutions for the internal built environment.
About us
Delta Green Environmental Design are Mechanical, Electrical and Sustainability Consultants providing holistic solutions for the internal built environment. The founders conceived Delta Green with the ethos of providing a first class service to our clients, to work with them, not just for them, and to understand our clients business so we can tailor our solutions to their requirements. At Delta Green we have created a team with a flexible ‘can do’ attitude, who value our client and business partners and work hard to develop open and long term relationships. We offer a wide range of complimentary services to provide our clients with truly holistic low carbon solutions, including thermal modeling and environmental assessment tools such as BREEAM. We believe that we add real value at any time in a project but particularly when we can get involved in projects right from the start, working with architects and design teams to create internal environments that meets the clients expectations in the short and longer term, that are flexible and future proof. We do this by developing pro-active relationships with the teams in which we work, trying to design out the active services, mechanical ventilation, heating and cooling as well as artificial lighting to create truly sustainable and low energy buildings. We have experience in all building sectors, particularly commercial, education, residential and healthcare.

The team have in the last few weeks have been completing the detailed design of the fit out of this lab building in Oxford with our colleagues at Total Projects (UK) Ltd , Purely Air Tech and Bidwells. The design includes LPHW and CH.W from central air source heat pumps and variable volume air system to the laboratory accommodation. The space will benefit from new electrical services throughout, consisting of: LED lighting via adaptable lighting connection solutions, including daylight sensors, to the rooms benefitting from natural daylight, overhead and underfloor busbar trunking to serve the laboratory benches and open-office spaces. Innovative design for a building which will hopefully innovate its users. ECE’s design for the new Construction Trades Centre (CTC) at Northbrook College West Durrington Campus in #Worthing has just received planning consent. This marks a key milestone in the relocation of curriculum from the Broadwater Campus, a vital part of Chichester College Group's sustainable estate strategy. This project offers a unique opportunity to regenerate the campus by replacing a disused temporary building, creating a coherent and welcoming entrance to the campus. Designed by ECE Architecture, the new CTC will complement the contemporary style of the existing campus buildings. Our team’s in-depth knowledge of both campuses ensured an optimal layout, maintaining essential space and access for students and materials. Careful planning will minimise disruption during construction, maintaining smooth operation for the on-campus theatre and other facilities. The final design includes: ▪ Large specialist workshops for brickwork, carpentry and joinery courses, and flexible classrooms. ▪ A two-storey building, with PV array to the flat roof, to address the prominent entrance corner, and a single-storey wing with a mono-pitch roof to sit comfortably on the site boundary. ▪ Brick and metal standing seam cladding to integrate with the main entrance. ▪ Landscaping works to improve the campus for all students and visitors. With planning achieved, we can now progress the delivery of the scheme with Amiri Construction. Thank you to the whole team involved. Thank you to Harley Davitt at Rainwater Harvesting Ltd for presenting yesterdays CPD event on Rainwater Harvesting. It was very interesting to learn how Rainwater Harvesting Ltd can provide Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) that also incorporates rainwater recovery for non-potable water use, such as toilet flushing and garden irrigation. #cpd #rainwaterharvesting #sustainableengineering
The team at Rainwater Harvesting Ltd loved teaching the team at Delta Green Environmental Design all about rainwater harvesting today. What our systems can do and how harvesting rain can be great for the environment and easily incorporated into landscaping designs. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! #cpd #learning #development #sustainability #attenuation #gardensystems #rainwaterharvesting #SuDs #savewater #savemoney #environmentallyfriendly
