“We want our clients to be able to build out new product capability across asset classes and explore new customer channels within a consistent, reliable and engaging digital framework.” Our team’s continued focus on delivering product features that unlock long-term value for our clients and their end-users has resulted in some exciting new developments to our Delio Core platform. Gareth Lewis, our Founder and Co-Chief Executive, shared his reflections on the capabilities of our technology and looking ahead to the future. Watch the video to see some of this new work in action! #PrivateMarkets #AlternativeInvestments #DigitalTransformation
It’s impressive seeing first-hand the hard work our engineering team are diligently putting in to continue to enhance our technology - I love getting to see the output as we progress through the development cycle and then it’s a case of waiting patiently until I’m able to talk about these developments with the market! Our approach has remained the same since our inception - continuing to focus on delivering a more efficient and flexible private markets technology stack, enabling digital transformation in a way that’s valuable and can be tailored specifically to the individual nuances of financial firms - helping them bring their proposition and growth strategies to life in a scalable and efficient way. It's taken time and there have been some wrong turns but I certainly don’t think it’s something that can be replicated without years of effort and learning. Having the technology and infrastructure built in the right way makes it easier to react to industry developments in areas such as AI and automation, but I’m a big believer that you need the workflows and operating infrastructure too. We’re seeing less appetite for multiple ‘point’ solutions and a lot more interest in how an end-to-end digital transformation can be achieved or unlocked. Looking ahead, we're focused on building toward a vision of modularisation and self-service. We want our clients to be able to build out new product capability across asset classes and explore new customer channels, all within a consistent, reliable and engaging digital framework. It’s about empowering others to innovate and explore new use cases without having to reinvent the wheel every time. This video gives just a snapshot of what’s to come, noting that I need to a better job of continually showcasing our capabilities! The growth in private markets has been phenomenal since we started Delio in 2015 and there continues to be huge untapped potential - we’ll be shouting a lot more about the important role that we play going forward. Thanks for watching! #privatemarkets #alternativeinvestments #digitaltransformation

McKinsey & Company’s recent analysis of the embedded finance (EF) market highlights digital channels as the most dominant for distributing financial products and services. With the potential for the market to “surpass €100 billion in Europe by the end of the decade”, it’s clear that optimising client experiences is crucial to retaining and onboarding new customers through digital platforms. Understanding ways to streamline different parts of the lifecycle such as digitising engagement tools to increase participation, making digital onboarding more seamless, and enabling self-servicing to generate portfolio reporting can all enhance the delivery of financial solutions from providers to clients. By doing so, companies and banks can provide more intuitive, value-adding experiences. Read about more drivers for growth in McKinsey’s article: https://lnkd.in/euza_8FG

The sustained growth of semi-liquid, evergreen Permanent Capital Vehicles (PCVs) is marking a better structural fit for wealth investors looking for more flexible and accessible private market funds. As Boston Consulting Group’s (BCG) white paper outlines, these vehicles—such as non-traded REITs, BDCs and interval funds—are increasingly appealing for working with the wealth channel due to their periodic liquidity, lower minimum investments, and reduced administrative burdens. However, success in this space isn’t just about product innovation. Distribution strategies must evolve to meet the diverse needs of wealth investors. Tailored approaches, consistent exposure and access to digital platforms promoting opportunities are key to unlocking the full potential of semi-liquid funds. Launching our digitally native RAIF investment vehicle has prompted conversations with contacts about ways to reduce the administrative load for stakeholders developing private markets investment structures. Investors, fund managers and administrators stand to gain from faster onboarding processes and efficient operations by aggregating investors with this asset-agnostic structure. “This represents a significant step forward in streamlining the deployment of our digitally native investment vehicle solutions, bringing together the efforts of multiple parties into a single, cohesive digital solution.” — Alessandra Ricagno, Head of Structuring at Delio.
