It's Men's Mental Health Month! 💙 Let's talk about something incredibly important: Men's Mental Health. No one should feel alone or helpless. Statistics reveal that men are less likely to seek help for mental health issues, with a report from the Mental Health Foundation noting that around 40% of men don't talk to anyone about their feelings. This needs to change. At CT Skills, we have always prioritised the mental health of our learners and staff. Our commitment goes beyond training and education; it includes fostering an environment of empathy and support. This month, let's remind our colleagues, friends, and loved ones that it's okay to ask for help. Sharing experiences and struggles can be incredibly empowering and can make a huge difference. Let's support each other in breaking the stigma. Engage with your colleagues, friends, and family and take a moment to ask how they are doing. Sometimes, the smallest gestures carry the most significant meaning. To help understand this subject more, we offer a Men's Mental Health free online course. Contact us today at 0115 959 9544 or visit our website: https://lnkd.in/eURbexcq #MensMentalHealthMonth #MentalHealth #MensMentalHealth #Support #Movember

🌟 Exciting News for Apprentices! 🌟 The autumn budget announcement has brought some great news for apprentices across England. From April 2025, the apprentice minimum wage will rise to £7.55 per hour, marking an incredible 18% increase from the current rate of £6.40. This boost is set to benefit over 130,000 apprentices and encourage more young people to take up valuable training opportunities. Our dedicated team at CT Skills is thrilled about this development. We believe in providing comprehensive support to our apprentices, helping them to succeed in their career journeys. This wage increase is a huge step forward in recognising the hard work and dedication of apprentices. Apprenticeship Recruitment Manager - CT Skills: Changing Lives & Creating Futures

With a broader range of qualifications now available post 16; T Levels, vocational/industry recognised qualifications, AAT/Accountancy, Childcare etc. candidates have, on paper, more relevant, qualifications than ever before. making them in theory, more apprenticeship ready. But there seems to be a growing lack of work experience, amongst all; not necessarily relevant work experience, but any work experience. The fact someone has worked, in any capacity, is always a positive; so much is gained, communication, team work, and the all important work ethic. Competition is fierce for apprenticeships, so it's more important than ever to stand out. Work experience is key! #supportingyoungpeople
